Entomophagy, or the practice of eating insects for food, is a topic that is objectionable to many. Still, eating our six-legged friends may be a viable way to feed hundreds of millions of people while at the same time lowering humanity’s impact on the environment. Posted in Events, Branch News on July 15 by nes

Mark your calendar for the AAUW NC 2008 Fall meeting - especially since it will be in Chapel Hill. This will be the last state meeting before the convention where the entire state will celebrate our 100th anniversary. Let’s take a large group over to Chapel Hill to help with the planning.

The exact schedule hasn’t been set, but for planning purposes, you can expect:

Friday evening, October 31. [Shall we make a Halloween Party of it?]
Saturday, November 1.

If either Friday or Saturday fits your schedule, please let Denny or someone else on the council know. [branch contacts]
